Pastor Michael D. Smith, Jr. serves as the Senior Pastor of Trinity Full Gospel Baptist Church. Called by God and affirmed by the community of believers, Pastor Smith is a devoted preacher, teacher, and shepherd with a heart for advancing the Kingdom of God through the power of the Holy Spirit and the truth of God’s Word.

With a strong commitment to Full Gospel principles, Pastor Smith proclaims the message of salvation, holiness, deliverance, and Spirit-filled living. Known for dynamic, biblically sound preaching and compassionate pastoral care, Pastor Smith equips believers to live victorious lives and to walk boldly in their God-given purpose.

Pastor Smith has faithfully served in ministry for over 42 years and is passionate about discipleship, leadership development, and life transformation. Under his leadership, Trinity FGB continues to grow spiritually and numerically, impacting lives through worship, outreach, and practical ministry that meets both spiritual and natural needs.

Pastor Smith also has a love for Gospel Music and has directed and sung in choirs since his youth.

In alignment with the vision of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, Pastor Smith believes in ministry that is Word-centered, Spirit-led, and culturally relevant. He is committed to fostering unity, empowering families, and raising up the next generation of leaders.

Pastor Smith is married and blessed to share life with his college sweetheart, First Lady Dawn. Together they have two children: Rev. Michael III (married to daughter-in-law, Jean) and Rachel (married to son-in-law, Alex). They also have three grandchildren: Evangeline, Michael IV, and Abigail.

Above all, Pastor Smith desires to glorify God, love God’s people, and faithfully serve as an under-shepherd to the flock entrusted to his care.
